Abstract
The number of accidents occur on Raden Tumenggung Suryo Road through Raden Panji Suroso Road in 2004 to 2008 periode was high enough since it is a high speed secondary artery road. Besides, the geometry of the road is straight and many pedestrians are passing by. The accident data obtained from Satlantas Polresta Malang and the speed and traffic volume survey data are processed to produce statistic data. Using Black Spot formula and Mass Action solution method. From the recent study, the accidentÂ’s characteristic is found. The data processing results in accident characteristics related to spot speed and black spot on Raden Tumenggung Suryo Road of 0.149, repairing and adding the prevailing traffic infrastructures.
